The NSA step Leagues are regional and statewide organizations stepping organizations which provide instruction and leadership at the local level. The youth division activity is managed by the NSA’s Step League Council (SLC), chaired by Chris Caldwell, a coach and league director in Texas.

To learn more about a league in your area or to inquire about starting one contact the NSA at youthleague@nsastep.org. If you would like to volunteer to serve on an SLC committee (such as events or protocol) please fill out this form SLC Committee Survey. Each committee meets monthly or bi-monthly by conference call.

At the end of the year (each spring) the NSA recognizes a coach of the year in the middle school and high school divisions, a league of the year, and a volunteer of the year. The NSA youth national championship weekend will take place in the spring 2016 in Atlanta, Georgia. In addition to the step show there will be college tours of area schools such as Spelman, Morehouse, and Georgia Tech.
